Robert Nelson started the company in New Jersey in 1951 and quickly built a reputation for providing quality products and services. In 2004 they moved to the Hudson Valley to expand that high quality of service. In 2005 the company was handed down to grandson Scott Nelson.
In August of 2006 Scott Nelson partnered up with Jason Peck to form J & S Home Comfort Solutions. With this merger, now J & S has unlimited resources, owned by local Hudson Valley residents--Scott and Jason, Chester and Maybrook residents and lifelong Hudson Valley natives. They are committed to providing complete customer satisfaction and has a mission to be "The Premier Heating and Air Conditioning Company" in the Hudson Valley area. To become the best Monroe heating contractor in Orange County and the Hudson Valley, they know they must be able to provide the highest quality and most energy-efficient air conditioning and heating products on the market.
