A-Bear Refrigeration, Inc., is a family owned commercial refrigeration company servicing the food service industry since 1987. We started with 3 employees performing refrigeration service. We now specialize in sales, service, and installation of commercial refrigeration, HVAC systems, and also beverage systems. In 2002 Randy Hebert Jr. decided to open a second office in Gulf Breeze, FL. to better serve the gulf coast. We currently have 21 employees, and 14 of them work in the field. We hold State Mechanical License for Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. With over 30 years of service and experience, you know you can rely on our expertise with your air conditioning and refrigeration needs. We even participate in continuing education classes to make sure we remain on the cutting edge and provide you the best services available, as well as holding classes of our own.
Doug Tauzin started Doug's in 1988 and ran a one truck company for over 10 years. In 2005 Doug and his son Jeff decided to grow the business into a leader in the industry with over 20 service and install vehicles. Doug's believes in hiring talented people and training them so they can succeed and grow with the Doug's Team.
A Louisiana state contractor’s license/registration is required if contractor performs work with total project value over the minimum threshold to hold a commercial license, residential license, mold remediation license, or an home improvement registration in the state of Louisiana.
By Louisiana law contractors need to get a home improvement registration to perfrom any home improvement projects over $7,500 but not in excess of $75,000 including labor and materials. Contractor's registration is valid for one year once it is issued. A home improvement registration does NOT cover swimming pools.
Any Mold Remediation projects with a value over $1.00 including labor and materials are performed by a contractor licensed with Louisina State Licensing Board only.
