In 1997 Bob decided to retire and sold the business to John S. Ayers Jr. and Ken Angel. Both Mr. Ayers and Mr. Angel continued to offer exceptional customer service that Mr. Muncy created years ago. As a result, if you owned a 10-year-old home, and your air conditioner stopped working on a 100-degree day, it was very difficult to find anyone to repair or replace that system.
Raleigh Heating & Air was born to fill that need.
Like most start-ups, we began in a garage with 1 pick-up truck and 2 employees. Today we are over 100 coworkers, a modern building with someone to answer your call 7 days a week, and a fleet of service and installation vehicles ready to serve home owners across the Triangle.
