Aa father and two of his sons noticed a need for carpet cleaning in the Des Moines, Iowa, area. They began a very successful company that quickly grew to four vans cleaning carpets in the Des Moines area. This company's name was Dream Steam Carpet Clean.
Years after Dream Steam began servicing the Des Moines area, another father and his three son's began a small carpet cleaning company in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Although, the intent was to be a summer job to pay each of the son's way through college, it led to full time careers for two of these boys. This company was called Hambly and Son's Carpet Cleaning. These two company's were both owned by different parts of the same family.
Eventually through a series of events, the Hambly Family from Cedar Falls, Iowa, purchased Dream Steam in Ankeny, IA from their family members. Over time a new branch was started in Cedar Rapids, IA (Dream Steam) and also another company was purchased in Ames, IA (Pioneer Cleaning Services).
