Moldman® opened in 2006 in Chicago, Illinois when our founder had a really bad experience with another mold company. He felt there had to be a better way and wanted to help others avoid what he just went through. After his bad experience, our founder knew that the mold removal industry needed an honest, straight-forward company to help others. Fast forward to the present. Since 2006, we have fixed mold problems in thousands of properties and provided clean air to all the countless people involved in the process. And we have done it by always following our mission: To educate and tell the truth about mold. This mission grows out of a sincere desire to correct the widespread misinformation and eliminate the unnecessary scare tactics that dominate the subject of mold. We've learned from every job and have refined our process as new techniques and technologies come available in this fast-growing industry.
After working in the asbestos and hazardous waste remediation industry for more than 19 years, David and Sherri Henson opened ERI's doors in 2006 with the goal to provide high-quality, reliable and safe abatement services throughout southern Illinois and St. Louis Metropolitan areas. Since the beginning, ERI has operated with family in mind and in 2014, the team grew by one when David and Sherri's eldest son, Abram, joined ERI. Bob and Jon Cates started a family business to expand their passion for flipping properties. What started out as a landscape company has grown to a company that completes full rehabs on properties. Their staff is licensed in Fire and Water Restoration, Smoke Remediation from IICRC, Mold Remediation from STC St Louis and Lead Abatement from the United States EPA. They have a crew that can tackle any exterior project from landscaping, decks, roofs, seamless gutters, siding, and windows. They also have qualified personnel that takes care of the inside as well.
