We started out doing windows in 1983 and obtained our general contractor and glazing licenses in 1986. We started The Window Specialist the same year and worked out of our home for many years selling and installing Amerimax premium vinyl windows. We obtained our first warehouse in San Francisco on Hickory St. That location worked well for several years until we outgrew the building. We then moved to Fruitvale in Oakland with 3500 sq. ft of offices and a warehouse. We started to sell Pella windows that year and became their largest company in northern California. In 2017 we moved to current location at 14733 Catalina Street in San Leandro. We have grown and survived the economic down turn and are still today a financially viable business currently having one of the highest growth periods the company has ever had thanks to our loyal customer base referring us.
