They relocated from the Washington, DC metropolitan area in 2011, selling a large successful business that serviced many high-end residential clients, builders, and government facilities. They restarted their business in their new home town of Las Vegas, NM, and look forward to sharing their many years of experience with local residents, builders, and contractors. New Mexico Laws allow a homeowner to act as the general contractor for constructing or altering their primary residence and obtain required project permits without becoming a licensed contractor. The homeowner must comply with all provisions of CILA, regulations, standards and codes including requirements for workers compensation insurance. If hiring employees homeowners must perform all Taxation & Revenue Department reporting requirements. All homeowner's subcontractors are required to be licensed and permitted their own work.
