In the early 1960's Joe Muchisky, Sr. was working as a garage door installer for Raynor Doors in Dickson City, PA. By the early 1970's, Joe was servicing and installing garage doors on his own with the help of his sons. In 1982, Northeast Door Company was formed and just one short year later, a new office and warehouse was built on the Scranton-Carbondale Highway in Blakely, PA. As the business grew, Joe Sr. and his four sons knew that their business needed to incorporate. In 1991, Northeast Door Company was incorporated and the name changed to Northeast Door Sales, Co. For over 40 years, the Muchisky family has dedicated itself to the sale of quality garage doors and professional garage door installations. We hope to continue serving you and maintaining our heritage of professional sales, service and installation of quality garage doors for many years to come.
Independent Dock & Door can help to keep you safe. That was our goal when Independent Overhead Doors began operations in 1988. We started out in a rented warehouse in Frackville, as a two-man operation and have steadily grown since. In 1990, we purchased our present location at 392 W. Apple Street, Ringtown, which was known as the Ringtown Manufacturing Company. We outgrew this 8400 sq. ft. building and in 1999, a 40' x 70' warehouse was built to provide more storage, therefore, decreasing order times for our customers. We were incorporated in 2002 and soon after bought out a well known area business that specialized in commercial dock equipment and material handling.
