My name is Jimmy Higgins. I’ve been around construction and woodworking since I was 8 years of age. My father ran a construction company here in Southern Illinois for many year so I’ve been on the construction site or in the wood shop for years now. My father shut down the construction business and I got a regular job back in 2010-2014. I had an opportunity to restore an old building on the square in Mt.Vernon and after the restoration was complete I started getting calls so I started my business Higgins Contracting. I’ve done it all when it comes to construction to a home or business and also interior or exterior. I started Woodworking in 2015 as a hobby and within the last year it’s turned into a business on its own. I’ve built a lot of custom pieces for local businesses and for out of state businesses. I currently wholesale some woodwork to a business in Breckenridge Colorado and plan to add a few more wholesalers to the list. Give us a call and I guarantee we can help!
