Meet the Owners of A-Plus Garage Doors.
My name is Tom Pennea, I have an extensive construction background in New York and Florida starting in 1970 after returning from military service in Viet Nam. Eventually I became the manager of the garage door division of "United Shelving & Garage Doors" in Debary Fl. I managed there for 15 years until it was sold. I spent another year as a manager for the company that bought United. I retired for a short time, but it became evident after several months that retirement was not what I was intended for. After numerous phone calls and some cajoling I decided to create a new company with my partner Joe Hogan.
I have always wanted to do it better than everyone else. I saw an opportunity to achieve that with my partner Joe. Joe was an installer for me for 8 years his hard work and knowledge during those years proved to me, he was the right man to go into business with.
