DMD was opened in 2011 by Stewart after moving to Madison from Atlanta. He wanted to be able to work close to home, his wife and three children. Stewart began his career in the garage door, fireplace and outdoor kitchen industry in 2003 with his Father-in-law who has been in the industry since 1978. Stewart graduated from Valdosta State University and began his career in Atlanta as a teacher working also part-time at Home Depot. After deciding that he enjoyed being outside and working with his hands he made the transition to deck building where he became the co-owner of a deck company out of Atlanta. Stewart's experience extends to commercial and residential, new constriction(remodels and replacement) garage door and operator repairs, gate repairs and new installation, outdoor kitchens, gas logs, fireplaces. DMD opened a new warehouse in Madison October of 2017. Call for an appointment.
