Ken has been in the garage door business for over
40 years. Collectively, our employees have over
200 years of experience.
Martin began in 1936 in Southern California. It grew
over the years and has taken care of millions of
peoples' door needs. Ken no longer works at the
factory, and since 2011 he and his wife have owned
Martin Garage Doors of Nevada.
A large clientele came from when Ken took over the
Harrison Door Company. Today, he also owns
Custom Garage Doors in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Martin family were some of the original founders
of the garage door industry in 1936. Ken joined in
1960 and was an executive at the factory for
over 40 years. His sons Brandon and Jonathan
joined the team in 2012.
Traves heads up the commercial department
with many years of experience. He was
honored as Garage Door Technician of the Year by
the International Door Association in 2014.
