Established in 1994 Coast Garage Door was started in 1994 mainly serving the new construction market. In 1996 Jim and Linda Anderson took over ownership. Although they continued to serve the new construction market they realized that they had a unique opportunity to provide beautiful products for the historic homes of the area. This prompted them to research many different manufacturers that provided a diverse selection of styles and materials. They joined the IDA (International Door Association) and the NWDOA (Northwest Door & Operator Association) in 1998 which provided optimal training in many different installations and repair of garage doors and openers. Coast Garage Door is now known for it's incomparable knowledge for difficult repairs and installations and knowledge of suitable products for the harsh coastal environment
