Established in 1973 by Menno Yoder, Wayne Door began with a small showroom and warehouse. Menno, a conservative Mennonite, had a strong work ethic, dedicated to providing unmatched service.
Menno became a true pioneer in the door business, and he had the first service department in the area. This department consisted of highly skilled craftsmen and technicians who provided quick service and repair. Anyone can install a door, but few provide service
The Business has grown to include two buildings that total 33,000 Sq. ft. Wayne Door currently employs 36 people at the Dover and Cambridge locations. There is a fleet of 19 trucks and 6 scissor lifts that install and service doors.
Throughout the over 40 year history of growing, Wayne Door has never lost focus of why we are in Business... We are in Business to serve the Customer. In 2000, Wayne Door was awarded the Joseph A. Caputo award by the International Door Association (IDA).
