S&S Overhead Door is a family owned and operated business that has been serving the suburban Boston area for more than 5 years. In the early 1950's the company's founder, Vincent Scalese learned the craft of door repair and installation having worked for a New England based commercial garage door service. With the post-war housing boom, new construction flourished in the areas west of Boston inspiring Vincent to establish a business that would provide sales, service and installation of residential garage doors and electric operators.
In 1977 Vincent's son Gary assumed operation of S&S Overhead Door working with Vincent until his retirement in 1985. More than fifty years later Gary and his son, Justin have continued to provide the same quality service that S&S has been known for through three generations.
