As the company's President and Owner, Jim Mellon's interest in restoration began in 1982. As a small general contractor and a Philadelphia area firefighter, he personally experienced a major property fire loss and quickly discovered that special skills, equipment and education were required to correctly restore his property.
Combining the need for this specialized service with his personal passion to help people in need, Jim fulfilled the rigorous educational requirements of the National Institute of Disaster Restoration (NIDR), earning the prestigious Certified Restorer (CR) designation.
