A-1 Mold Testing & Remediation was incorporated in 2001 to separate it from its sister company. The owner has been in business as a carpet & rug cleaning, water & fire damage restoration business since the '70's and as mold became an issue, it was added to this business. In early 2001, the birth of A-1 Mold happened to separate out water & fire damage restoration business from mold testing and remediation to allow A-1 Mold to create a niche as the only company that specializes in Indoor Air Quality and Mold. Still today our focus remains to be mold and the indoor environment.
