Monitor the building process in order to detect any violations or deviations from the original plans on time. If this causes problems, contact the following agencies to be provided with some assistance immediately:
The Division of Occupational and Professional
Licensing (DOPL)
DOPL investigates many illegal and unprofessional conduct. If a contractor is found guilty, DOPL may suspend or revoke the contractor's license and/or may hit their with fine of up to $ 2,000.
