In 2002, William Elek, Inc. became William Elek, Ltd. Three generations of Elek's have carried on the original mission statement of quality plumbing and heating services to our customers and the community. William Elek, Ltd. assures the continuance of this same dedication to excellent service. In 2004, Elek Plumbing was honored to become the recipient of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business Award in the 1-49 employee category. In 1910 Fred Moyer started this business right next to our office at 226 N. 10th Street. In 1954 Fred J. Moyer took over operation of the business from his father. Since 1954 Fred has been running the business here in Allentown, PA. He was joined in business by his sons Frederick III and Darren who were all Master Plumbers. In 2013 a tragic motorcycle accident took the life of Frederick III. While it has taken it's toll on our family emotionally, we are still moving forward with our business and servicing our customers with all their plumbing needs. If you call the office today you will most likely speak with Fred's daughter Melissa who handles the financial end of the business as well as the service and repair scheduling. In the summer months our 4th generation of plumbers joins our crew. Jacob and Noah are the great grandsons of our founder and are wanting to continue the family tradition.

We started Zoom 20 years ago with our dad and brother out of a spare bedroom and with a little borrowed money. Back then we rode together to service calls in a single truck, with at least one of us sitting on a bucket between the front seats.
