We moved to North Carolina in 1991 from Florida and never looked back. I was the local Building Inspector for 7 years and discovered that my major interests lay in Electric and Plumbing. I teach the Continuing Education at Mayland Community College here. As we became established, we work with the Habitat for Humanity in Watauga County and do some work in Boone, NC. We service all of our surrounding counties. Mayland Community College is trying to set up classes to train people for the 'trades' and I will be teaching the electric classes if they are successful in getting the grants and enough students.
