Prior to issuing a Plumbing permit, the City of Oxford is required by the State of Wisconsin to verify that a contractor possesses or employs at least one individual who holds both a dwelling contractor qualifier certification ( from the Department of Safety and Professional Services) and the State of Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor Certification.
The Marquette County Building and Mechanical Code is in effect in all municipalities of the County except: the Town of Oxford, Town of Springfield, Village of Neshkoro, Village of Oxford, Town of Shields, City of Montello.
