Ira Hansen began his career in the plumbing trade when he took over a defunct sewer cleaning service in 1979. He spent the next seven years working in the business, building a base of many repeat, loyal customers. In 1986 Ira received his plumbing contractor's license and started Ira Hansen & Sons Plumbing. A company that once employed two employees - Ira and Alexis Hansen - now thrives as one of the leading plumbing companies in the Reno/Sparks area.
Ira is committed to the honesty and integrity of his company and the work performed. He offers customers competitive prices, quality workmanship, and the experience and honorable reputation of a business owner who has lived in Reno his entire life. He is a second-generation Nevadan and Sparks resident. His grandfather was a boilermaker for the Sparks railroad, and Ira's father was also a local businessman. Ira is the proud parent of 8 children, some of which are involved in the business.
