The business has been in continuous operation since 1988. The current owners purchased the business in November 2012 from the original owner. We have a Mill as well as a Model Home.
The construction company was founded in 1978 by John Surprenant. Though located in the Roanoke area of Southwest Virginia, we service commercial construction and residential construction customers across the nation. Some of our most recent construction projects include remodeling and renovating skilled nursing facilities in Texas and Arizona. Our specialties include constructing new buildings and homes from the ground up as well as renovating existing structures.
Contractors are required to be licensed in Virginia. There are two features of a contractor license. The first one is the class of license which determines the cost of projects that may be performed and the second is the classification/specialty of license, which determines what works are permitted.

Building permits are issued by the local departments (cities and counties) in Virginia.
