A few years later, the general contracting jobs lead to the addition of another branch of the business, roofing. Having been in the roofing business for 7 years now, the company has become both a GAF Weather Stopper Roofing Contractor and an Owen's Corning Preferred Contractor.

A Tennessee contractor's license is required if the total cost of starts from $25,000 (includes materials and labor) to perform the following:
Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing and HVAC projects
Masonry specialists are required to be licensed as a contractor for projects $100,000 and up.
Geothermal HVAC Well Drillers must be licensed from Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
A license is needed in order to perform any improvements adjacent to the dwelling with total cost ranging from $3,000 to $24,999. It would include alter, replacement, modernization, or addition to any land or building, such as, swimming pools, porches, driveways, garages, fences, landscaping, fall-out shelters, roofing, painting and etc. This an actual requirement in some counties listed below:
