Golden Hammer Construction, Inc. was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of North Central Florida's premier contracting companies. Owner Shawn Verdream was born into a family of carpenters and craftsmen. He was toting around a hammer before he was able to walk. It was only befitting that construction was where he would make his career.
Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, Shawn was brought up with the highest standards and qualities of northern construction. He has worked in many phases of residential and commercial construction with 1000's of hours of hands on experience. After a year at Kent State University, The University of Florida brought Shawn to Gainesville where he now resides and operates his business. Shawn is a State Licensed General Contractor and a State Licensed Roofing Contractor. He specializes in residential and commercial remodeling projects, new construction and roofing.
