Wimsatt Brothers opened its wholesale supply business in Highland Park, MI on March 17, 1936. In 1956, Wimsatt moved to its current location in Wayne, MI. 
 In 1987, Wimsatt was one of the first distributors to introduce unassisted rooftop delivery in Michigan. Over the years, Wimsatt has grown to eight locations across Michigan and Northern Ohio, serving the professional contractor with the gold standard for service in steep slope and low slope roofing, exterior cladding, windows and doors, and general building materials.
