I began my career in construction in 2001 selling residential emergency services for Blackmon Mooring post Tropical Storm Allison. I learned how to mitigate fire, water and mold claims for insurance. I later took a position with Cotton Restoration as a PM running commercial emergency service projects after Hurricane Rita and Wilma in 2005 and again after Hurricane Ike in 2008. This was around the time I started my business. Chasing storm work was a seasonal independent contractor position. In between projects I begin doing roof replacements/repairs and general remodeling. After 10 years of operating Aztec Contractor's as a side venture, I committed myself full-time to my businnes in 2015 and it has been all I have done since. I am currently a Certified Contractor for Sears Home Improvement and a Preferred Contractor with Owens Corning.
