I started my business in January 2020. I have worked in construction for 20 years doing roofing, siding, gutters, windows, gutter cleaning & gutter guard.
We started in 1982 specializing in solar design & installation of hot water and whole house heating systems. Within our first year we expanded into building solar efficient homes, additions and remodels. Everyone has a dream to build a custom home, add onto or remodel their existing home. For over 30 years our experience started in Michigan, then to Colorado, onto Washington, North Carolina, Ohio and back to MI, Our goal is primarily one thing, provide a finished project that meets, or exceeds our customer's desire. Accurate Exteriors was formed in 2004. I started off being a sub-contractor for the larger Roofing companies in the area. I learned everything that I possibly could and decided to go on my own. I am Licensed with the State of Michigan, I am a Preferred Contractor with Owens Corning, also certified installer for Certainteed. We carry the PROPER Liability and Workmans Compensation Insurance. We currently carry a A+ rating with the Better Business Berau and have good references and reviews.
Marlette Roofing Company was founded in 1946 by Mr. Max Patrick. Max thought Marlette was a good location to start a business based on the fact that it was in the center of the thumb of Michigan and would allow him the ability to travel in any direction to service many customers. In 1980, Max sold the business to his son, Sam. The business continued to grow as the industry transitioned from hot asphalt roofs into rubberized roofs. During this time, Marlette Roofing Company expanded from the local thumb area into markets such as Port Huron, Flint and the fringes of northern Detroit. In 2008 Sam sold the business to his son, Al Patrick. Al has continued to grow the business based on the very values and principles instilled in him by his father and grandfather.
