Stephen started working in excavation as a teenager. This led to life obsession of playing in the dirt, or as he puts it "digging in the sandbox." Over the years Stephen has done everything from masonry work, to truck driving, to doing excavation, carpentry and working on machinery.
In the late 80s Stephen and Vicky decided it would be best to move off island to raise their family. After a few years of driving trucks for island businesses and doing excavation for Robert Our, Stephen decided to go out on his own. Vicky left her job and Final Touch Construction was born in 1992. We began as a landscape construction business doing mostly grading, driveways, retaining walls, drainage, brick walkways, water lines and new landscapes. Then we added an excavator and we began doing septic systems, foundations, pool digs, sewer lines and utility trenching. In 2006 Stephen moved the equipment and himself back to the island and is currently located at his family home on Sparks Ave.
