Thompson Creek began manufacturing energy efficient windows on West Street in Annapolis. At that time, we only sold our windows to contractors that then sold them to consumers. In 1997, our original building was demolished as part of the West St revitalization project, so we moved the company from West Street to a 20,000 sq ft facility on Thompson Creek Road. Our growth and new location also provided us a new business perspective. In 2001, we revamped our strategy to sell windows directly to customers, eliminating the middleman and allowing us to control the full window-buying experience for the customer. We quickly outgrew our facility on Thompson Creek Rd and in 2007 moved into an 80,000 sq ft facility in Landover. In 2016, we built a brand new 117,000 sq ft manufacturing and warehouse facility in Upper Marlboro, MD so we could expand our service area. In December 2017, we moved into our new headquarters in Lanham which houses our Executive Team, Marketing Team and Support.

Tim's grandfather owned a roofing business until the 90's which is where he got his start in the industry. Both of his parents where involved in the construction business and passed their knowledge down to him. As a general contractor Tim owned Keystone Building Inc. but decided in 2016 to narrow his focus on what he knows best, Roofing!
