We started this company mostly due to covid, and we did very well at it, and went above all expectations of all of our customers. So we decided this year to change our name to Pitwick Remodeling Llc and become register with the state of Louisiana, and get all of our credentials, and here we are!
A Louisiana state contractor’s license/registration is required if contractor performs work with total project value over the minimum threshold to hold a commercial license, residential license, mold remediation license, or an home improvement registration in the state of Louisiana.
By Louisiana law contractors need to get a home improvement registration to perfrom any home improvement projects over $7,500 but not in excess of $75,000 including labor and materials. Contractor's registration is valid for one year once it is issued. A home improvement registration does NOT cover swimming pools.
Any Mold Remediation projects with a value over $1.00 including labor and materials are performed by a contractor licensed with Louisina State Licensing Board only.
