John T. Fontecchio III along with his wife Karen started Johnny's Plumbing & Heating in 1978. They started this new business with two employees and carried out all operations of the business from the garage of their home. John's first company work truck consisted of a 1966 Chevrolet truck and then later evolved into two small tan colored Toyota trucks which to this day is still talked about today by the locals.
