In 2012, Chris decided to specialize in roofing, and his company became what is now known as Cenvar Roofing. As the Lynchburg branch grew, the company began to expand its reach. In 2016, the Roanoke, VA branch was launched, and In 2017, a branch opened in Charlottesville, VA. Today, Cenvar Roofing is operating 8 branches across Virginia, and providing thousands of customers with high quality residential roofing services.

Contractors are required to be licensed in Virginia. There are two features of a contractor license. The first one is the class of license which determines the cost of projects that may be performed and the second is the classification/specialty of license, which determines what works are permitted.

Performing construction or demolition of structure, you are required by the State of Virginia a permit to be obtained. Building permits are issued by the local departments (cities and counties) in Virginia. Homeowners should verify with permit office to see if they need a building permit or where they should file their application.
