This business was started by my dad in 1979 and is now a second generation business, along with my dad who is 81 and still active in day to day business.He has been doing this type of work since 1953 and I have been involved with this line of work since 1973.
Our founder and CEO Chris Good entered the construction and roofing industry in 1996. In 1997, Chris started his own construction company. He began by building decks, additions, and eventually high end, custom homes in the Lynchburg, VA area. In 2012, Chris decided to specialize in roofing, and his company became what is now known as Cenvar Roofing. As the Lynchburg branch grew, the company began to expand its reach. In 2016, the Roanoke, VA branch was launched, and In 2017, a branch opened in Charlottesville, VA. Today, Cenvar Roofing is operating 8 branches across Virginia, and providing thousands of customers with high quality residential roofing services.
Owned and operated by the Pantana brothers, born and raised in Lynchburg, VA. Our story is one of perseverance, hard work and integrity. We launched our roofing company in 2016 and have enjoyed rapid and successful growth. We have plans to expand in multiple markets throughout Central Virginia.
Contractors are required to be licensed in Virginia. There are two features of a contractor license. The first one is the class of license which determines the cost of projects that may be performed and the second is the classification/specialty of license, which determines what works are permitted.

Performing construction or demolition of structure, you are required by the State of Virginia a permit to be obtained. Building permits are issued by the local departments (cities and counties) in Virginia. Homeowners should verify with permit office to see if they need a building permit or where they should file their application.
