Prior to issuing a Roofing permit, the City of Suamico is required by the State of Wisconsin to verify that a contractor possesses or employs at least one individual who holds both a dwelling contractor qualifier certification ( from the Department of Safety and Professional Services) and the State of Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor Certification.
If the property in question is within 1000 feet of a lake or within 300 feet of a river or stream, a Shoreland Permit must be obtained first from Brown County.
