As A Firefighter / Paramedic I understand the importance of doing a job professionally and safely and exceeding our customers expectations. Our crew members are all Employees of our company, we do not use subcontracted (1099) members. We focus on do excellent work safely.
Omni Tree & Landscape was started in Columbus Ohio. I originally attended Hocking College for tree Care in the early 90s. and take classes at Ashland University to gain more knowledge about the environment. I did not immediately go to work in my field of study. i worked as a carpenter in the central Ohio area until 1999 at which time I was layed off. A friend who owned a tree care business asked me to come work for him. I soon realized my calling. I love the tree care industry. I do not see it as a job or a way to make a living.It is what I truly love to do. Over the years i have the observed the damage cause by the chemicals used in our industry and it has changed my thoughts towards the use of chemicals. When I went full time with Onmi I promised myself that would do things differently. I truly belive that landscaping and tree care business should support environmental sustainabiity. They should teach their employees and customers in how apply it to current problems.
Cincinnati Tree Care provides all phases of tree care: topping and trimming, removal of trees and stumps, shaping, feeding, fertilizing. Cincinnati Tree Care provides lot clearing and yard clean up, plows snow in winter months and sells firewood. As a small business, we are dedicated to provide a superior service to our community. Cincinnati Tree and Landscaping Service started by Houston Wilhoit (RED) and was a profitable business for decades before he retired in 1978. Upon his retirement, the company was purchased by his two (2) sons and split into separate entities in 1988. We are currently doing business as Cincinnati Tree Care, Cincinnati Tree.
