Larry Ryan started Ryan Lawn & Tree in 1987. From day one, Larry's goal has been to set the standard in customer service among lawn care companies. Larry has a degree in forestry, but it was the 10 years he spent in the restaurant business that taught him to deliver high quality products and hire a staff that truly puts the customer first. Ryan partners with our customers to maintain their lawns, trees, shrubs and irrigation systems with high quality service at an affordable price.
In 1982, Tim Crews entered the tree care industry in Topeka, Kansas for Oakleaf Tree Service. In 1983, he co-founded T-N-T Tree Service, one of the first companies in the Springfield area to institute proper pruning standards in accordance with ANSI A300. T-N-T was also the first company in Springfield to train all field employees with the ANSI A300 standards, and encouraged them to receive their Arborist Certification. In 1995, Tim became sole owner of T-N-T. The company expanded its services, and worked hard to become known as Springfield's premier tree care company. In 2003, the company sold to Ryan Lawn and Tree, where Tim managed the Springfield branch for the next ten years. In September 2014, Tim decided to return to his roots as a business owner, left Ryan on good terms, and opened Cherokee Tree Care.
